With so many great events in July, we were wondering how August would top it. Despite school holidays being over, there’s still plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy this month!

Dining events, school fetes and environmental working bees make up just some of the list.  There are so many things you won’t want to miss out on!

Faulty Towers the Dining Experience

Where: Sherwood Services Club

When: 4th August, 7pm

If you’re after a hilarious ‘dinner and a show’ dining experience, then this event at the Sherwood Services Club isn’t one to miss!

Basil Fawlty is an eccentric host, to say that least, and for $69 (members) or $74 (non-members), you can have an evening filled with fun, laughter and a good feed.

The experience includes a three course meal and a show. With over 60% of tickets now sold, you’re going to want to call 3379 8555 to reserve your spot!

Meet the Winemaker

Where: Kenmore Tavern

When: 14th August

We all know someone whose passions lie in wine bottles, and if that someone is you, then this event is probably right up your alley!

Join the wine masters from Leconfield Wineries for a three course meal accompanied by Leconfield’s new range of wines.

Not only will you experience delicious food and wine, but you’ll have a chance to meet the head winemaker and ask any questions you may have!

Habitat Brisbane Bushcare Working Bee

When: 19th August, 8am - 10am

Passionate about the environment?

Then head along to help locals protect and restore the Oxley bushland.

These events happen once a month, and the group is happy for anyone and everyone to come along, even just for a once-off session of assisting.

You will be restoring, protecting and creating local bushland for locals (both human and local fauna) to enjoy!

Graceville State School Fete

Where: Graceville State School

When: 25th August

The Graceville State School Fete is back again and we’re so excited for a day filled with rides, scrumptious cakes and more!

Whether you’re a parent or a member of the local community, there’s something there for all ages.

Maybe you need some jam or want to bid on the awesome auction items?

See you there!
