It might not be the first thing you think of when inspecting a property, but checking various plumbing aspects such as tap-ware and guttering could save you a fortune.

Finding a good plumber to seek advice on bathroom maintenance, or any emergency repairs can be difficult. Luckily, Tom Davies from Pipe Fix Plumbing is here to save the day.

Tune in for his top three tips to look out for when looking for your new home. Our location showcases the cream of the crop in bathroom fixtures, providing the perfect example of that you should be looking for.

    1. Check the tap-ware - the water must flow with constant pressure, in both hot and cold taps.
    2. Check the hot water system - an old hot water system can often cause to issues along the track. Check the label to see when the system was installed - if it’s over 10 years, get a plumber to check it first.
    3. Check the guttering - corroded, stained guttering can be a sign of underlying issues.
