There are very few places in Brisbane where women can come together to connect, celebrate and make friends, but the Nest Community is one!

If you're a lover of craft, gardening, or just hanging out with the ladies, this is the place for you.

Open Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, this ladies organisation resides in a big, beautiful house in Everton Park on South Pine road.

Out the front on the balcony is a haberdashery shop with enough fabric, sewing patterns, knitting wool and other craft supplies to rival bigger craft stores and it's available at very low prices.

The funds from the shop go to fund the Nest and their various workshops and events designed for women, no matter what they need.

We caught up with one of the founders, Roz Fenson, and some of the members and volunteers to chat a bit about the sisterhood at the Nest. Warning: there are plenty of warm and fuzzies.
