Trish Walker and Jess Wyatt have never owned a café before, but they couldn’t stop their dream of owning a business together.

These ladies used to work together and originally wanted a homewares store inside the beautiful, heritage-listed building on Honour Avenue.

Both customer-service orientated, they soon realised a homewares store wouldn’t be a busy enough environment for them to thrive.

And so, Hunter & Scout was born.

They said that they fell in love with the building before anything else and with a beautiful interior and courtyard, this café could be Graceville’s new favourite brunch spot.

It opened less than two weeks ago and Jess spoke to us about how the dream became a reality.
