Veggie Loaded Snacks and Treats Workshop

Where: The Source Bulk Foods Bulimba

If food that’s good for both the body and soul sounds like your ideal combination, then take notes from nutritionists Sofie Van Kempen and Shan Cooper. They will be giving their expert advice on how to make simple, healthy and delicious snacks for the whole family, along with recipe demonstrations.

Picture veggie delights such as cauliflower based dairy free ice cream, kombucha based green smoothies, low sugar bliss balls, and much, much more.

Tickets are $45 per person, and bookings are essential.You can even shop in the store at discounted rates for the evening!

Storytime and Craft

Where: Riverbend Books
When: August 11, 15:00-16:00

Take the little ones down to everyone’s favourite local bookstore, Riverbend Books for the perfect afternoon of creating and learning.

Renowned children’s author Cherri Ryan will be hosting an advanced reading of her newest book, Spirit, which will be followed by craft lessons including origami making.

The event is free for all to attend, providing the ideal child-friendly weekend activity and a great opportunity to have some special bonding time, while supporting a local author.


Mums & Co Coffee Meet Up

Where: Hawthorne Garage

When: August 2, 9:30-11:00

Mums & Co is a networking group with a goal of inspiring women to realise success in both business and life, working to connect and empower mums in local communities.

Hosted by a local ambassador, their Hawthorne event will provide the opportunity to meet face to face with local business women to share ideas and offer support.

This is a free event, however attendees must register to enjoy a cup of coffee and great conversation with like-minded, local mums.
