#myplace 85 Pear Street, Greenslopes with Donna Green

The house of the “Green Girls” as they’re known – Donna Green, her three daughters and their dog Maggie, have lived in this family home for 18 years!

85 Pear street was once an old house in Annerley that Donna found 18 years ago and moved it to their land in the prime location of Greenslopes.

Having renovated the house over the years to suit their quirky, arty style and love for the beach, the home has seen the creation of many family memories.

As you walk up the stairs of the light blue Queenslander, you’re welcomed by two cacti wearing sombreros… the ‘party plants’ as we’ve named them.

“We’ve had many parties here where a few margaritas have been shared on the deck or by the pool so the plants at the front door have become our tequila plants!” shares Donna.

We sat down with Donna over a cuppa where she shared the story of the home and what her and her daughters have loved about living on Pear street.
