This local has lived in Hawthorne for most of her life. Having moved here at five years of age with her family, attending the local school, Raylene found a love for the suburb that has kept her here for many years.

“Hawthorne is my home and I can't imagine being anywhere else. What a great suburb to call home,” says Raylene.

Following in her mother's footsteps, Raylene volunteers as the Operations Director at Morningside AFL Club where she has continued to give back to the community.

“Here at the club it’s so important for us to create a space where everyone from the community can come, feel relaxed and enjoy time with their neighbours.”

Raylene is a true Hawthorne local and demonstrates great community spirit. We asked Raylene what she loves most about her home ground.
