What is Morningside known for?

It's an inner eastern suburb that offers connection to the city yet provides the most wholesome suburban feel. It has a lovely community that offers everything that families, couples and investors could ask for. Morningside has great schools, transport options, cafes and parks!

What do you love about the homes in Morningside?

There are homes that have been in families for over 60 years, which is the case for 22 Fleetway Street, a beloved home I currently have on the market. There’s also 38 Monmouth Street that has a 25m pool that used to be a swim school! There’s just so much history here.

There are also incredible entry level properties that make it open to all buyer markets. There are contemporary homes, charming Queenslanders, luxury homes, homes on large blocks and post-war homes. There are also many elevated block with incredible city and suburban views.

There is so much on offer however, the heart of the suburb is the community and the family vibe.

Are there any community projects taking place in Morningside?

The Beelarong Community Farm grow fresh, chemical free food in their wonderfully sustainable farming environment.

Whether it be to volunteer, have your own plot or if you wanted to participate in a workshop, there are many ways to get involved at the farm!

Something only the locals would know?

Morningside has so many hidden secrets that you wouldn’t expect to see in a suburban suburb! From the microbrewery to its own community farm and the Seven Hills Bushland Reserve, there’s truly something for everyone in Morningside!

Best way to get around the suburb?

Biking, walking, scootering or via car are the best ways around the suburb. The bushland reserve is great way to get to neighbouring suburbs on foot as well.

Go-to shopping spot?

Westfield Carindale is only a short commute, or the newly refurbished Cannon Hill Plaza is perfect for your weekly shop or a quick bite to eat!
