We recently sat down with Daniel Myers, owner of Pure Painting Solutions, as he reminisced on his passion for painting and some of his favourite memories.

‘Painting is a visual thing, it’s rewarding seeing the end of a job when you get to drive past and say ‘hey I did that’, as opposed to sitting behind a desk in an office. Recently, we did a heritage listed building in the city. One thing I loved was that as you walked into the entrance, they had these huge, high ceilings with ornate corners and mouldings everywhere which gave that old-style, decorative feel. It posed a huge challenge due to all the things we had to keep in tact to reach the end product, while retaining its classic feel. Painting is one of those visual jobs where you can stand back and admire your work, which I certainly did for that project. That one really stood out for me.’
