Last week we were lucky enough to attend a very special event – The Pink Lunch.

The Pink Lunch fundraiser saw people from all over Brisbane come together and raised over an incredible $30,000 in funds for the Wesley Medical Research.

One of the events guest speakers was Doctor Kowski Murugappan, a breast surgeon, who spoke about the goals for breast reconstruction and the importance of fundraising so these goals can become a reality.

Someone who is touch very closely by the event is the beautiful Marisa Vecchio, who is the owner of the venue - Hanworth House.

Marisa is in the midst of her breast cancer journey, and as host for the lunch at her property, Hanworth House, Marisa spoke publicly about her battle with breast cancer for the first time.

We thank agent Cathy Richards for her efforts in organising the lunch, it was a lovely afternoon filled with fun and laughter, and more importantly a huge success at raising funds for a very important cause.
