On the beautiful tree-lined Ison Street of Morningside, just a mere 3.9 km from Brisbane’s CBD, you’ll find the architecturally designed Ison Collection City Homes.

Developed by P3 Projects each of the 6 homes have been specifically designed to provide a luxurious, low maintenance lifestyle.

Walking distance from the foodie district of Hawthorne and Bulimba’s buzzing Oxford street, you’ll find everything you need right at your doorstep.

We spoke with Glenn Baird, Marketing Manager of P3 Projects, about the concept behind each of the amazing homes.

Tell us about the concept behind the Ison Collection?

Ison Collection provides buyers with an opportunity to secure a full-sized home on a smaller, low maintenance lot that doesn’t compromise on the delivery of internal living space or functionality.

At P3 Projects we’re committed to using carefully considered design in sought after suburbs, providing each of our clients with enjoyable living in beautiful homes.

Our design principles are – Modern, Inner City, Low Maintenance and Lifestyle (MILL), all of which the Ison Collection embraces in the prime pocket of Morningside.

The design of the homes are a contemporary take on the classic Queenslander. We have used linear weatherboards, high ceilings and plentiful windows/louvers designed to capture all prevailing breezes.

The innovative architecture and design of the homes eliminate traditional challenges of tri-level living. The entrance is on the middle level with the living area on the top level. The lower level of the homes comtainsutility rooms and additional bedrooms/ bathrooms which are used less frequently.

In each home, an entertainer’s kitchens feature distinctive V-Zug appliances as well as premium Italian cabinetry used throughout the homes.

Every home has plentiful internal storage that has been cleverly included. As well as this, the properties each have a secure external storage space.

3 Phase power is connected to each of the homes. This supports high capacity air conditioning and heating systems as well as having future capacity for electric car charging. The houses have also been integrated with solar panels and a battery-ready, home energy management system.

What makes Morningside such a great location?

Ison Street is in the prime pocket of Morningside. It's wide tree-lined street is certainly located to all the conveniences, you would expect to live in the Bulimba/Hawthorne lifestyle.

What does low maintenance and lifestyle mean for buyers of Ison Collection homes?

Every design decision made in the Ison Collection homes was taken to reduce maintenance. A low maintenance home frees its owners from the time burden of upkeep on their home’s. This is key in today’s busy world.

The smaller lot sizes reduce the amount of yard maintenance to almost nothing. All the external terraces use a premium artificial turf to ensure an attractive ground surface and minimal upkeep.

We have considered choices in landscaping design and plant selection that will provide a delightful, low maintenance green buffer in and around each home.

Internally, tiling is used throughout the homes – except in the bedrooms where carpet provides an appropriate and tactile sense of luxury.

The selection of modern material ensures minimal maintenance, freeing time to enjoy a lifestyle embracing all that’s available in the vibrant neighbourhood so close to home.
