Place Estate Agents is excited to announce that Chris May and his team have joined the Place Ascot office under the leadership of Drew Davis and Patrick McKinnon.
“The Place leadership was the biggest selling point for me; I want to be inspired in my career and growth is essential in that journey,” Mr. May said.
The dad-of-three wrote close to $1 million dollars in his first full year of real estate and accomplished his biggest sale recently at $1.85 million.
“I had my eyes set on Place because the company’s marketing, public relations, leadership and training is at the forefront of the industry,” he said.
Specialising in Brisbane’s North, Mr. May’s team consists of two co-agents, Ross Lewis and Lachlan Alleyne – the dynamic triple threat are all in their 20s.
“Patrick and I are thrilled to have the May Team join our office; they’re the perfect fit for our office and we are excited to watch them grow,” Drew Davies, Joint Principal of Place Ascot, said.
Mr. May was nearing a career as a professional motorbike racer, when he started in the luxury retail industry. He quickly climbed the ranks to become National Manager (ANZ) for Scotch and Soda.
It was only when he was made redundant during the COVID-19 pandemic that a real estate agent friend suggested a career in real estate.
Two years on, selling homes, Mr. May has never looked back. It is the career he has always dreamed of and is thrilled to be starting a new chapter with Place Ascot.
“Video and social media has always played a big part of my marketing; we see Place everywhere and the quality of content is something I want to adopt into my team,” he said.
