For the Fine Diners

Allow yourself a culinary escapade with a front seat on the Brisbane River at Alchemy Restaurant. Specialising in creative Modern Australian cuisine, you will toast to a complete four-course extravaganza inclusive of paired wine, to make enjoying the night's entertainment that much sweeter. At $269 per head and the best view in the city, you can expect a riveting menu featuring dishes such as Ceviche of Salmon and Scallops, a Mixed Mushroom and Duck Agnolotti, Scott Black Angus and so much more. Visit the Alchemy Website for booking information and a look at the full menu.

For the Festival Lover

Once again, Wildlands Festival has graced the Brisbane Showgrounds with a lineup that will have you grooving straight through to the new year. Featuring some of the biggest international artists on the music scene, such as RUFUS DU SOL, Peggy Gou, Central Cee, The Jungle Giants and more, festivals are a great way to get bang for your buck. Spending New Year's Eve singing along to your favourite songs is also not a bad way of closing out the year. Missed out on tickets? Head over to the Wildlands website before time is up!

A Family Affair

For those with little ones, finding an activity for all to enjoy can be challenging. If you'd still like to get in on the fun of celebrating, Brisvegas Cruises offer a family-friendly cruise for a memorable night all round. Dress up or dress down, you'll board from New Farm Park at 6:00pm for a 3 hour cruise beneath the city skyline. The boat is fit with a fully stocked on-board bar with delicious food and drinks and entertainment for all ages. Celebrate in style and book before you miss your opportunity!

For the Party Goers

In classic NYE fashion, a variety of extravagant parties are on offer in Brisbane this year. However, if you're wanting to dabble outside of the usual 'white party' theme, Soko Rooftop is hosting the ultimate Masquerade event. At $225 per head, you will be treated to a 4 hour beverage package, Peruvian and Japanese Roaming Canapes and live entertainment through till next year! Pair a night of mystery with Bongo Players, Latin Dancers, House DJ's and a 180 degree view of Brisbane from 16 floors up. Booking is limited but just in case you do miss out, afterparty celebrations will open to the general public from midnight.

For a simple celebration

They're on every year and if you get in early, you can watch them from the best seats in the city. We're talking about none other than The Lord Mayor's New Year's Eve Fireworks. Held at Southbank Parklands, the evening features one show at 8:30 pm and another at midnight. The event is free to attend as well as alcohol-free, ideal for a wholesome evening of celebration.
