Graceville locals will be familiar with the Christ the King Fun Run as it marks its third year, selling out once again.

Over four hundred people arrived at the park bright and early on Sunday 29th July to register and warm up before the event.

Families and community members alike packed Simpson Park in Graceville ready for a morning of activity.

Couples, families and people from the entire community arrived ready to tackle the 500m dash, or even the two and five kilometre events. Whether participants walked, ran or simply wandered through the activities, it was a great day for everyone.

Despite being a winter’s day, the sun was out and the mist soon burnt off to reveal gorgeous blue skies.

At Place, we’re incredibly passionate about the areas we don’t just work in, but the communities we live and thrive within.

The recent Fun Run is just another opportunity we take to get out and about, and we can’t wait to see you all next year - it’s sure to be even better.
