Artboard 2    THE APPEAL

A sea-like change, while still being close to the city.

Enjoy the very best that inner-city suburban living has to offer in Morningside. Serviced by Wynnum and Lytton Road, the suburb beautifully blends modern, suburban living with a bit of old-industrial charm. With its fantastic access to the CBD via car, bus or train residents can easily commute to work whilst still being able to appreciate all the good that comes with living in a suburban pocket.

Take in the beautiful views of the Brisbane River in the suburb's popular brewery spot, Revel Riverside, or stop by Colmslie Beach Reserve for a play in the park, a walk along the water or simply, to take in the blissful scenery.

Morningside is also home to numerous historical sites including the Morningside School of Arts building. The hall was constructed in 1926 when the suburb was experiencing rapid residential growth and development after World War I. The hall was frequently used for arts, church services, group meetings and social functions. It is no longer a School of Arts but operates as a public venue for the local community. Another historical site in Morningside is located at 580 Wynnum Road, which is the Morningside Air Raid Shelter. The Air Raid Shelter is an important site in demonstrating the evolution of Queensland history.
