A true Brisbane icon, Queen Street Mall is turning the big 4-0 and marking the occasion in style Friday, August 26th.
Featuring everything from live entertainment and night markets to styling workshops and pop-up culinary offerings, this free-to-attend street party is one not to be missed!
First opened in 1982, the mall is one of the city’s premiere shopping, dining and cultural hubs. Celebrating its legacy and thrilling future, Queen Street Mall will be hosting live music and roving performers throughout the day. There will also be a free mini-concert with a yet-to-be-disclosed Brisbane legend on the Wintergarden Stage from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, as well as an enticing night market (4pm to 9pm) at Reddacliff Place.
Fashion-lovers, see the new spring-summer collections from the mall’s retailers when the cosmopolitan strip turns into a runway for a series of fashion shows (5pm, 6pm and 7pm).
Keen to make a day of it? Between 10am and 5pm, a slew of brilliant styling sessions and workshops from the likes of Sass & Bide, Cue and Country Road will have you looking truly amazing. Finish things off with a glass of sparkling at Jimmy On The Mall’s pop-up champagne bar. Cheers to you, Queen Street Mall!
