The gift of giving is something that Shannon enjoys. Working tirelessly providing her energy, time and support to various charities including The Helen Hackett Foundation, AEIOU, Pyjama Foundation and Canteen. Shannon initiates a variety of charity events to raise much needed resources for the charities, the standout being the Bulimba Fashion Festival, which is now in its fifth year. Demonstrating her true entrepreneurial talents, Shannon decided to start the event not only to help charity, but also to assist local retailers and businesses in the area and to provide a fun platform for locals to network. The event and Shannon's philanthropic nature has been well received by charities and the local community.
